+38% checkout completion without touching the product photography.
Context
A beautiful store that leaked at the last step.
Traffic and add-to-cart rates were healthy. Checkout was where the money went missing — a four-step flow with a shipping cost that only appeared at step three.
Approach
Fix the last screen first.
Shipping and delivery date moved to the product page. Checkout collapsed from four steps to two, with the summary visible the whole way. We changed nothing about the photography or the brand voice — the problem was structural.
Build
Headless where it pays, hosted where it does not.
The storefront is a Next.js front end on the Shopify Storefront API; payment and fulfilment stay in Shopify. Card transitions between listing and product use GSAP Flip so the browsing rhythm never breaks.
Results
Same visitors, more orders.
Checkout completion rose 38% within six weeks of launch, and revenue per session is up 27% year over year on comparable traffic.

Case FAQ
Before you ask for the same.
Depends entirely on your baseline. We record conversion rate, Core Web Vitals and organic sessions before touching anything, and report the same four metrics 90 days after launch.
Yes. Several of these projects were template and checkout work rather than full rebuilds. If the structure is sound, we do not charge you to replace it.
The same five people listed on the About page. No subcontractors, no account manager between you and whoever is building.
A free 30-minute teardown: your current site on screen, and a written list of what is costing you conversions. No pitch deck, no obligation.
